Juliette Barnes will stop at nothing to convince Deacon Clayborne to join her on tour.
In a sneak preview from the Wednesday, Oct. 24 episode of ABC’s Nasvhille, Juliette (Hayden Panettiere, 23) lounges naked in bed with Deacon (Charles Esten, 47) while discussing their future together. The only person standing in their way? Country legend Rayna James (Connie Britton, 45).
“The other night, why’d you call Rayna up instead of me?” Juliette asks.
Deacon sighs and responds, “I didn’t do it to hurt you.”
“It didn’t hurt me,” Juliette counters. “Just, sometimes, I’d like to be that girl worth choosing.”
Juliette then redirects the conversation to her career. “If you thought of me in the same league as Rayna, you’d go on tour with me. . . Think about how good it would be to just leave everything here behind. We’d be out on the road and playing for sold-out venues and screaming fans. And then we weren’t, we could be writing songs.”
Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
