Never a dull moment! Amid lingering buzz from this week’s explosive final part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, Bravo released a first-look at the upcoming Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, which boasts some pretty serious drama of its own.
As seen in the tease above, franchise stars Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Claudia Jordan, NeNe Leakes, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, and Porsha Williams sat down with Bravo exec Andy Cohen recently to discuss the most memorable moments from season seven, including Leakes and Jordan’s infamous Puerto Rico feud, Apollo Nida‘s legal saga, and the fallout in his failing relationship with Parks.
Not surprisingly, the preview for their sit-down is chock-full of quippy one-liners, including this gem of a diss from Parks: “There’s plenty of whores in the bible, so you in good company, baby.” (Honorable mention goes to Bailey’s husband Peter Thomas: “If I’m gonna cheat on my wife, it ain’t gonna be with no waitress. I’d rather play with myself than do that.”)
The most dramatic moment, however, comes late in the trailer, when Leakes — upset over something said during a chat with therapist Dr. Jeff — breaks down in tears and has to be escorted off the set, leaving Cohen to seek out her costars for the story behind her freak-out.
“I can’t,” she whispers shakily. “I can’t talk about my mom…”
According to Bravo’s Daily Dish blog, the incident leads to Leakes “[opening] up to the group about her personal history in a heartfelt moment that leads to a surprising conclusion.” Talk about a tease!
Part One of the three-part RHOA reunion airs April 26 at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
