Many programs are already available for download now, including Netflix originals such as Orange Is the New Black, Narcos, Stranger Things, The Crown and House of Cards. Some shows from other networks — such as Parks and Recreation, Breaking Bad, The Office, One Tree Hill, Friday Night Lights and Mad Men — are ready to be viewed offline as well.

In order to access the download feature, which is included in all plans and available for phones and tablets on iOS and Android, simply upgrade your Netflix app to the latest version. Once you have the updated app, select “Available for Download” from the menu to see all the options.

Since fans have been asking for an offline mode for years, people on social media were beyond thrilled with the news. “Netflix enables downloads for offline viewing. 2016 held off good news for 11 months, but it finally gave in,” one tweeter wrote, while another added, “Me: *is literally always at home with wifi* Also me: ‘YAS THE DOWNLOAD THING IN NETFLIX IS EVERYTHING.’"
