Nicki Minaj Reacts to Adele’s Carpool Karaoke ‘Monster’ Rap: ‘Iconic!’

Stamp of approval! Adele nailed Nicki Minaj’s rap from Kanye West’s 2010 song "Monster" — and Minaj knows it. The rapper applauded Adele for her carpool karaoke during The Late Late Show with James Corden in a series of tweets on Thursday, January 14.

"Pull thru, QUEEN!!!!! #Adele," Minaj, 33, wrote. "#Monster the attitude & fingers to match. #Oh #Ok #IcoNic." She also added a bunch of princess crown and trophy emojis.

Adele, 27, sat in the passenger seat for her epic performance. "I heard a rumor that you — which may be surprising to some fans — are quite the rapper," Corden, 37, said during the appearance. "That you can spit some lyrics."

Indeed she can. The "Hello" singer threw up her arms and gave it her all while sitting in the passenger seat of Corden's car. The comedian couldn't stop smiling — while Minaj hasn't been able to stop cheering.
