Well, these are interesting! Prior to appearing on season 20 of The Bachelor, Olivia Caridi posed for some glamour shots. Us Weekly obtained the exclusive photos, captured by Tennessee-based photographer Mickey Baker back in August 2014 and May 2015, and they’re colorful, to say the least.
As fans of the hit ABC show are well aware, Caridi, who wears acid-wash mom jeans in one shot, has quickly become this season’s villain.
During the Monday, January 18, episode, Ben Higgins’ bachelorettes became irritated with the news anchor after she repeatedly blocked Higgins from one-on-one time with the other ladies. The girls were quick to pick apart the competitive blonde, who has already claimed Higgins as her future husband.
“They were, like, talking about your toes,” Jami informed Caridi during a group date on episode 3. “[They’re like,] ‘Her toes, like, aren’t cute.’”
“Am I aggressive? Yeah,” the 23-year-old later confessed to the camera. “Do I have bad toes? Yeah. I know I do.” The criticism clearly got to Caridi, though, because she later revealed to Higgins that she’s suffered from “cankle” insecurity her whole life.
“You know everyone has things on their body that they wish they could change,” Caridi told Higgins, moments after he had revealed that two people close to him had died. “Mine,” she continued, “like waist down, I hate my legs. I hate them. People have written blogs that I have ‘cankles.’”
Higgins was clearly taken aback.
“I came in here a little down and this is not exactly what I want to talk about,” he told the cameras during a confessional. “It would be nice if a woman just took some time to not have a lot of expectations and just comfort [me].”
