Online Couples Finally Meet in Person, Learn Shocking Secrets in Oxygen’s New Series ‘Virtually in Love’: Watch the Promo

Time for control-alt-delete on the relationship? Oxygen is launching an unscripted series called Virtually in Love that centers on online daters traveling great distances to finally meet their significant others in person, Us Weekly can exclusively reveal.

The series, premiering May 24, will show the face-to-face introductions, followed by the ups and downs as the pairs learn more about each other and meet the other’s family and friends. The couples will then decide whether to continue dating in the same city to further their real-life connection.

The premiere episode features Dre and Charli meeting in person in Alabama after dating online for six months. They discover that each is keeping a secret, including Dre’s surprise about his ex-girlfriend.

“This series takes an in-depth look at couples who are stepping out of their comfort zones in order to move forward with their lives,” Oxygen Media exec Rod Aissa says in a statement. “As these romantic hopefuls confront their online relationships, the emotional stakes run high and reveal a genuine heartfelt scenario that is sure to resonate with our viewers.”

The first trailer reveals the couples’ spilling about their pasts, including one woman admitting that she’s a virgin, and another woman sharing that she’s actually married. Watch the drama unfold in the video above.

Virtually in Love premieres on Oxygen Tuesday, May 24, at 9 p.m. ET.
