Totally not-of-this-world! Peter Dinklage hosted Saturday Night Live on April 2, and one of the standout moments from his gig included a ridiculous song about pants — specifically, space pants.
The Game of Thrones actor, 46, took to the stage in a ridiculous platinum blond wig, a metallic silver vest and crazy pants decorated with prints of the solar system. He then kicked off his performance by doing the robot and spewing lyrics like: “Look at my pants with the eyes in your face / My legs are covered in outer space!”
The song is totally ridiculous, but oddly enough, it’s catchy. The entire performance got even crazier once Dinklage introduced the evening’s performer, Gwen Stefani, to join him on stage. The “Make Me Like You” singer, 46, stepped out in a metallic top tucked into … you guessed right: Space shorts!
“Oh, damn, that’s really her!” somebody yells. “Why the hell is Gwen Stefani hanging out with space pants?”
“My shorts are from a galaxy far far away,” Stefani raps in her signature No Doubt coo. She and Dinklage both continue to yell “space shorts” and “space pants,” making everyone wonder: Where can we get those fabulous prints?
