PIC: Adam Levine Sports New Mustache on NYC Movie Set

Adam Levine, is that you?

The Voice coach is normally clean shaven when critiquing singers on the NBC series, but for his feature film debut in 2013's Can a Song Save Your Life?, Levine is opting for a drastically different look.

Showing off a brand-new mustache and full beard in a photo posted to his Mobli.com page Tuesday, Levine declared himself to be a "grizzly man."

Beginning production on the flick costarring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Hailee Steinfeld Monday, Levine appeared to make a good impression on the film's New York City set. "Shot my first scene this morning! I think I did well because nobody yelled at me," he tweeted.

Appearing as the boyfriend of Knightley's character in the music-based drama, Levine, 33,will be joined on screen by his fellow Voice coach, Cee Lo Green, who will star as a famous hip-hop artist.

Also this summer, the Maroon 5 frontman is hard at work scouting talent for season 3 of The Voice, which premieres in September. Levine has also mended fences with his season 2 Voice frienemy, Christina Aguilera, with whom he bickered over contestant Tony Lucca. "I love her, she's the best, and we're having a fantastic time as of late on the set," Levine recently told MTV.
