American Idol's Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson better watch their backs!

The judges may have some new competition in about 20 years — from Jennifer Lopez's little ones, Max and Emme.

Lopez's 3-year-old twins joined their mom, 41, on the Los Angeles set of Idol Wednesday, and appeared to settle in just fine on the judging panel, normally occupied by Lopez, Tyler and Jackson.

"[It's] take your twins to work day at IDOL," the proud mom Twittered Thursday, hours before she and her fellow judges voted to send New York's Karen Rodriguez packing. While the twins stayed hidden during Thursday's results show, their dad, Marc Anthony was spotted on camera. See more adorable shots of Max and Emme at Idol.

Lopez says her little girl certainly has the pipes of a future American Idol wannabe.

"It's funny when you listen to her, because…she sings out of pure joy and pleasure," Lopez has said of Emme. "The minute she thinks you're watching her, she stops. But she has a beautiful little voice, almost like a little Shirley Temple vibrato type thing."

Max and Emme weren't the only Hollywood kids who made it onto the Idol set this week. On Wednesday, Kate Hudson and rocker boyfriend Matt Bellamy took Hudson's 7-year-old son, Ryder, to watch the Top 12 perform.

But the pregnant actress and her family weren't lucky enough to get seats like Lopez's tots did. As they took in the taping from the studio's nosebleed seats, host Ryan Seacrest joked, "I got to get you better seats. I feel bad you are way up there." Though Hudson, 31, didn't seem to mind: during the shout out, the star giggled and playfully covered her face with a bag of Cheetos.

Later, Hudson met with the contestants, including self-proclaimed superfan Paul McDonald.

"Kate Hudson has been one of my all-time [favorites]," McDonald told UsMagazine.com after meeting with the actress. "When I first saw Almost Famous I was like 'I want to marry you!' When she walked in, I was like, 'should I tell her that? Or just kind of chill out?' But I just kind of hung out and met her and it was awesome meeting her boyfriend. I didn't propose — I just kind of played it cool and told her I was a fan."
