Talk about inspiring! The Prancing Elites, a black, gay, non-gender-conforming dance team from Alabama, will debut their new Oxygen reality show, The Prancing Elites Project, on April 22 at 10 p.m. ET. To promote the new series, they recruited YouTube stars Lohanthony and Sam Tsui for an uplifting music video about celebrating individuality.
Us Weekly has the exclusive first look at the partnership, "Desire," which features the five dancers, clad in sparkly jumpsuits, save Tsui and Lohanthony from a boring day at the office. With the Prancing Elites involved, that workday will be anything but ordinary.
The Prancing Elites, comprised of Adrian Clemons, Kentrell Collins, Kareem Davis, Jerel Maddox, and Timothy Smith, first rose to fame when a news report of the group being kicked out of a Mobile, Ala. parade went viral. Now, the five friends have their own series that will show the frequently discriminated-against team rising above adversity.
