Baby Bridge! It’s no secret with a title like Bridget Jones’s Baby that the third film in the beloved franchise will feature actress Renee Zellweger‘s neurotic Brit exploring motherhood. But new photos from the set show that fans will get to see the hopeless romantic pregnant.
Wearing a striped maternity shirt and furry jacket, Zellweger, 46, filmed scenes for the movie in South London on Wednesday, Oct. 7, with her blonde hair pulled half up.
Very little information has been released about the plot of this film, which will part ways with author Helen Fielding’s three-book series. Grey’s Anatomy alum Patrick Dempsey has already started filming alongside Zellweger, but no information has been given about his potential character.
In Fielding’s third book of the series — Bridget Jones: Mad About a Boy — the British novelist made the controversial decision to kill off Bridget’s husband Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth in the movies). But no word has been given on whether Mark will survive in the film.
