Tootie is not here for this! Grab the popcorn and get ready for some crazy, because new episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are on the way. Us Weekly has the exclusive (and explosive!) first trailer for Season 8, which introduces new drama and one compelling addition — former child star Kim Fields.
The Facts of Life actress is already learning some drama-filled, um, facts, about her new costars. In the clip, she’s seen mingling with the ladies, already throwing out some advice, and seems appalled during one particular outing.
“Are we grown-ass women talking like this?” she quips in the sneak peek.
On this season, Fields will also be joined by show vets Cynthia Bailey, mom-to-be Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Sheree Whitfield, Porsha Willams, and fellow newcomer Shamea Morton. It’s the first season since the departure of OG NeNe Leakes, and the return of Whitfield after a three-year hiatus. As previously reported, Claudia Jordan is not coming back. She appeared in Season 7.
Cat fights are to be expected (shocker!), but many of the ladies will also be facing new challenges this season. Moore is still searching for love, Bailey tries to overcome rumors about her marriage to Peter Thomas, and pregnant Burruss will be busy juggling her career while getting ready to welcome her second child with husband Todd Tucker.
RHOA vet Parks, however, may have the toughest road ahead of her. The attorney continues to break down over her tumultuous relationship with her husband, Apollo Nida, as he remains behind bars for his $2.3 million bank fraud.
“He said he wanted a divorce,” Parks says in the clip, “so I’m gonna give him one.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
