Time to say goodbye! TNT's crime drama Rizzoli & Isles will be signing off after its upcoming seventh season, the network announced on Thursday, January 7.
The series premiered in July 2010 and stars Angie Harmon as detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles. The news of the show's end came during the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.
"It felt like it was time, and we all discussed it, and everyone said, 'Yeah, let's go out, finish 13 great ones, and call it a day,'" TNT president Kevin Reilly said. "Everybody felt good about that."
Fans' reactions to the cancellation can be seen below.

The news comes one day after Alexander, 42, nabbed a People's Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Actress, the same prize that Harmon, 43, won last year.
