The search is almost over! Actress Rosie Perez is set to join ABC’s The View, a source confirms to Us Weekly.

The White Men Can’t Jump star is joining the revamped talk show alongside co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg (The casting of two Rosies is purely coincidental, according to the source). Remaining in the running is political commentator Nicolle Wallace, the insider adds.

Perez, and perhaps Wallace, will succeed longtime cohost Sherri Shepherd and one-seasoner Jenny McCarthy, who abruptly left the round table in July. (The 17th season also saw show creator Barbara Walters retire after five decades in the business.)

As for the last seat at the table? The insider tells Us that despite other reports, the final spot has not been finalized.

“ABC and production want a conservative for the final spot,” another source tells Us. (Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who departed the show last year for Fox News, previously filled a similar role.)
