Out of the frying pan! In Chopped Junior‘s season 2 premiere on Tuesday, April 26, Sarah Michelle Gellar learns that judging the Food Network competition series is quite a stressful experience.
The preview clip shows the young chefs scrambling to finish their dishes with just two minutes left on the clock.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on Chopped Junior,” one contestant tells the camera. “I’ve been dreaming about this moment for, like, ever! … I want to be a pastry chef, and I just want to get dessert and blow the judges away.”
Gellar, who is the premiere’s guest judge and is behind the cooking and lifestyle brand Foodstirs, covers her face with her hands as the final seconds count down.
“It’s like I almost can’t watch!” the Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum, 39, says.
