No hard feelings! Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta’s Friday, February 19, episode features a bride’s rocky gown-shopping trip with her 14-year-old daughter, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
In the TLC series’ clip, Suzanne is prepping to get married for the second time and doesn’t want a dress that looks overly bridal. However, daughter Angela — who is serving as the event’s wedding planner — has other ideas.
“A wedding should look like a fairy tale,” Angela tells the camera.
The teen picks out a number of gowns for her mom to try on, but they aren’t exactly winners. “That is the ugliest dress I have ever seen,” her mom says about one of the picks.
Finally, Suzanne agrees to see what she looks like in one of the choices, but the outcome is clearly not what Angela had hoped for.
“I feel like the spokesperson for the Georgia Peach company,” the bride-to-be says about the dress, causing her daughter to cry.
