The one that got away? Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta‘s Friday, February 12, episode features country singer Kristen Kelly having trouble finding her perfect wedding gown, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
The TLC series’ footage shows the bride-to-be hoping to find a dress that incorporates her slightly edgier style.
“I absolutely love the neckline, lace and bling,” Kelly says after trying on one low-cut number. But she admits a key reservation to the camera: “There’s ruffles in places that don’t look good.”
Her stepfather is far less forgiving about the gown and quickly informs her that he is “definitely” not a fan.
“This dress to me is too open-fronted,” he bluntly tells the camera. “This dress is a no.”
The episode also includes fellow country artist Jimmy Stanley‘s surprise proposal to Kelly before the shopping begins.
