Can’t. Stop. Drooling. (And we’re not talking about the dog.) Scandal hunk Scott Foley exuded some of his signature Jake Ballard charm for Us Weekly, reenacting his favorite lines from the ABC political drama with his canine companion, Alf.
Surprisingly, Alf didn’t seem particularly into being the Olivia to Foley’s Jake, but that didn’t stop the swoon-worthy stud from delivering his lines perfectly for Us in NYC’s Bryant Park.
And once we broke the ice thanks to Alf, Foley was more than willing to dish about the Thursday, May 14 season 4 finale. So will Pope and Associates finally take down Rowan and B613?
“He’s human just like the rest of us,” Foley said of Rowan (played by Joe Morton). “I wouldn’t be surprised if Command could be taken.”
And could Jake die in the process? Foley indicated no, revealing that he has already signed on for season 5. But he had a pretty shocking admission when asked if he was Team Jake or Team Fitz.
“I don’t know, I’ve got to tell you, I like Olivia and Fitz together,” he said (to our horror). “I like their chemistry, and I like the dynamic they have. I’m Team Jake because I’m Jake, right? But as a viewer I love watching Olivia and Fitz together. I’m Team Fitz. Something in my heart wants her to be with Fitz.”
When he’s not fighting Command, Foley is working with Merial and HEARTGARD Plus “I HEART My Dog” program. Merial will sponsor $1, up to $150,000, to Canine Companions of Independence, a non-profit organization that provides highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities, for every person who shares why they love their dog with #iheartmydog on social media.
Scandal season finale airs at 9 p.m. ET on ABC. Watch the clip and tell Us what you think of Foley’s allegiance now!
