Keep a ring on it! The Bachelor alums Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici refuse to take part in a controversial experiment in Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars’ Friday, February 12, episode, as seen in Us Weekly‘s exclusive sneak peek.
In the We TV series’ footage, Lowe, 32, and his wife, 29, bristle when they are asked to take off their wedding rings and enjoy a night out on the town.
“I don’t like this idea,” the season 17 Bachelor tells the camera. “I love the idea of having the ring on and what it symbolizes and what it means to me, knowing that everyone who sees it knows I’m married to my beautiful wife — all that stuff.”
When the pair inform the group that they won’t be participating, fellow housemate Sarah Oliver (Bad Girls Club) accuses them of not taking the program seriously.
“It’s the principle,” Giudici fires back, with Lowe adding, “It’s just, we’re at our breaking point right now.”
The couple met during The Bachelor‘s 2013 17th season, and their wedding was televised live on ABC in January 2014. In December, they announced that Giudici is pregnant with their first child.
