Be still, our Bachelor-loving hearts! Anyone who wasn't already excited about the upcoming 19th season of ABC's The Bachelor — starring hunky Iowa farmer Chris Soules — should be after seeing this swoon-worthy promo pic, which shows the 32-year-old Midwesterner in all his ruggedly handsome glory.
With his impeccably tailored suit and chiseled, ever-so-slightly scruffy jaw, Soules looks more like a J.Crew model than a soft-spoken, tractor-driving corn farmer. But fans who watched him on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette know he wants nothing more than to find someone to grow old with in Iowa.
That's made even clearer by the accompanying tagline, which emphasizes Soules' down-to-earth nature and wholesome rep. It reads: "Traditional. Classic. All-American."
Soules was a favorite on season 10 of The Bachelorette, but Dorfman sent him home mid-Fantasy Suite date, telling him she didn't want to take that next step if she didn't see a future for their relationship. He was heartbroken — but he's hopeful he'll find love with someone else this next time around.
"I believe in the process. I believe in what I went through on the previous show," he said on Good Morning America in August. "That's why I'm doing it. I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel like there was potential."
Season 19 of The Bachelor premieres on Jan. 5 on ABC.
