George Santos shared his brutally honest opinion on LeSean McCoy‘s shocking decision to leave Special Forces because he didn’t want to poop in public.
“There were 15 princesses there. We were all princesses and we all used it. But LeSean was by far the biggest princess of them all,” Santos, 38, exclusively told Us, claiming McCoy, 38, couldn’t handle the pressure or the porcelain. “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the biggest queen of them all? It is you, LeSean.”
Santos, who left later in the Thursday, October 1, episode after a medical issue, recalled an unaired conversation between him and McCoy.
“I begged him. I was a duty recruit [but] it is not in the scene. I begged him and I chased him out when people said, ‘LeSean is about to surrender.’ I’m like, ‘No!’ I like storming out of there limping in untied boots and in pain,” he told Us. “I’m like, ‘LeSean, what are you doing? We just started.’ And he was like, ‘Nah, I don’t want to be an army man any more. I’m not going to use the toilet outside.’ You can’t be more princess than that. That’s just wild.”
During Thursday’s episode of the hit Fox series, McCoy asked to leave after realizing he would have to poop outdoors. This caused some backlash from instructor Jovon “Q” Quarles, who felt McCoy didn’t try hard enough.
Santos, for his part, didn’t disagree.
“I’m going to say this very bluntly. I feel like I gave it my all. I feel like Ruby [Rose] gave it her all. Hell, Brandy [Glanville] freaking face flopped onto the water and she still swam and got up,” he noted. “LeSean is a physically able man who is a former super athlete. He could have done better. I think it was pretty disappointing.”

He continued: “It hurts him in the future because who’s going to want to book him again? But that’s for him and his agent to decide. But I think it looked bad for him. Look, Ruby tapped out because of her medical condition. I tapped out because of the medical condition. Poor Brandy couldn’t continue when her boob was under her armpit. Then we have here LeSean, who’s in his own words the greatest footballer of all time. But he can’t poop in an outdoor stall. Come on, grow up.”
Despite leaving two days in, Santos was proud of how much he pushed himself.
“I wanted to stay as long as possible. I said this to my team, ‘If my body lets me go, you can’t break me mentally, dude. I’ve been in solitary confinement for 41 days so there’s nothing worse than that on Earth,'” Santos, who was convicted of fraud and identity theft in 2025, said. “I can do anything mentally. The challenge is always my body and my physical ability to do it. So I was very upset. I was so angry and emotionally charged. Like there was a part of me that when I left the set and I had officially tapped out, I was just in my head, ‘I need to go back there. I think I made a mistake.”
Santos was struggling with chronic nerve pain in his back, adding, “I thought I’m gonna push through the pain but I couldn’t stand on my leg. I was just like, ‘Wow, what is it that your mind and your will to keep going is there.’ I told myself, I don’t care if I sever a limb until somebody leaves. I’m not giving up.”
Since Special Forces returned to Fox, Santos has enjoyed the way his time on the show has been received, telling Us, “It’s so humbling. I’m used to a very different reaction. So it’s so humbling that people got to see me and they have this reaction. It’s healing in a way because all I wanted was to be seen outside of headlines. At least people get to see a little bit of who I am in in a real organic way — not in a controlled studio where I show up to an interview and people laugh and then walk away.”
He concluded: “It’s emotional for me because I’ve had a rough go for the last few years. It is the consequences of my own actions but to see that I can pass through that and fight through that and keep fighting to at least reclaim some space is very heartwarming for me and and forever grateful to the audience and Special Forces and beyond for the love and and the support and and the memes. How amazing and how honored I am to be a living meme at this point.”
Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season 5 airs on Fox Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
