Suicide Squad Teaser Debuts After Comic-Con Leak: See Jared Leto’s Maniacal Joker in Action!

Definitely worth the hype. Twitter was abuzz over the weekend after a first-look sizzle reel for Suicide Squad debuted at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday, July 11 — and now we know why.

Following a low-quality leak of the footage online, Warner Bros. Pictures decided to go ahead and release the HD version via YouTube on Monday, July 13. It’s just three minutes and six seconds long, but trust Us — you’ll want to replay it over and over and over.

There’s Margot Robbie dangling from the top of a cage and then stomping through the streets as Harley Quinn, a ripped Will Smith giving the beatdown to a punching bag, and — most terrifying of all — a crazy-eyed Jared Leto with neon green hair and rotting silver teeth as the maniacal Joker.

“I’m not gonna kill you,” he snarls at the end of the teaser. “I’m just gonna hurt you really, really bad.”
