Summer House alum Lexi Wood is weighing in on the Amanda Batula and West Wilson drama.
“I, honestly, feel awful,” Lexi, 28, told Us Weekly exclusively while attending The Daily Front Row‘s 10th annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards sponsored by DAOU Vineyards. “I really wish that things were different for everyone.”
Lexi told Us that she’s reached out to her and Ciara’s “mutual friends” as the scandal continues to unfold.
“I have messaged everyone to show my support and show them that they’re really, really loved in the best way that I can,” Lexi added. “I feel awful. I think that the situation is so complicated, but my heart is with them, and I’m supporting where I can.”
Though the pair had their own drama during season 9 of Summer House, Lexi is on Ciara’s side in this situation.
“I think being a girl’s girl is really [important]. You don’t need to be best friends to be supportive for other girls,” Lexi explained to Us. “I feel heartbroken for her, so I couldn’t even imagine what she must have thought or is thinking.”
She added, “My heart is definitely with her. My support is with her, and I’m sending her all of the love and strength.”

Rumors started swirling last month that Amanda and West had started a romantic relationship. Amanda was married to Kyle Cooke for four years before they announced their split in January. She was also best friends with Ciara, who dated West in 2023.
Amanda and West confirmed their relationship with a joint social media statement on March 31.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” they shared, in part. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
The duo continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
The Summer House season 10 reunion has yet to film, but the cast is hopeful more details will be revealed about the relationship on camera. Lexi told Us on Tuesday that she doesn’t have any advice for her former costars.
“Honestly, the current cast has it covered,” Lexi said. “I am rooting for them to kind of get all the answers and closure that they need, and I think that that’s what the reunion is for.”
She added, “I know my last reunion wasn’t so great for me, but I do know that the reunion is to really get the answers and get the closure that you’re looking for. That’s what I really just wish for them.”
