Teen Mom’s Taylor Selfridge made it clear she is not ready to discuss Cory Wharton’s behavior on The Challenge: Cutthroat just yet.

“I know you have questions for me at the moment. I don’t feel like talking about it, to be very honest,” Taylor, 32, shared via Snapchat on Sunday, August 9. “I have my feelings about it, but I’m not going to talk about it on the internet right now. I’m letting you guys know I’m going to the gym and I haven’t gone to pilates in a few days.”

When The Challenge: Cutthroat premiered on Paramount+ on Wednesday, August 5, Cory, 35, raised eyebrows when he opened up about his status with Taylor.

“The past year, me and Taylor, she kind of acts like I don’t even exist,” he shared. “We don’t show each other affection. We don’t sleep in the same bed. We coparent under the same house.”

While filming, cameras rolled when Cory — who shares Mila, 6, and Maya, 4, with Taylor and daughter Ryder, 9, with ex Cheyenne Floyd — seemingly bonded with costar Izzy Fairthorne.

“Izzy is very attractive. I’m sure you guys can see it. I can see it. Anybody with two eyes can see it, right,” Cory said in a confessional interview. “Back home hasn’t been great. … To come on this show and to have that magnet with somebody, it feels good.”

The banter seemingly got the attention of some costars, including Nelson Thomas.

“Coming into this environment, not knowing what your relationship status is with your loved one back home is hard. But Cory, you’re 30-something years old dude,” Nelson, 37, shared in a confessional. “This girl’s 26. You have three beautiful daughters at home. You’re an amazing father. Respect your baby mama.”

After the episode aired, Cory addressed his behavior on X, writing, “This season for me is gonna be a hard watch, for so many reasons. I was in such a dark place heading into the season. It’s like I’m watching myself cry for help. I just don’t think this is the right platform for that.”

The Challenge: Cutthroat was filmed earlier this year before Cory and Taylor’s daughter Maya — who was born with a rare congenital heart defect called tricuspid atresia — was hospitalized for several weeks with plastic bronchitis.

Maya has been able to make a recovery and recently enjoyed a family day with her mom and sisters at Raging Waters waterpark in San Dimas, California.

“If there was ever, like, a little diamond in the rough or blessing in disguise, it would be that, that me and Taylor did reconnect, and we did decide that, OK, we both have to put time into each other as well,” Cory told E! News in May about how Maya’s recent health scare brought him and Taylor closer together. “Because, yes, the terrifying experience did serve as a reminder of just how short life can be.  It changed my perspective on a lot of things. Those little things that you tend to stress about in life kind of went away. It was like, those things don’t matter in the grand scheme, right?”

The Challenge: Cutthroat is streaming now on Paramount+ with new episodes dropping on Wednesday.
