Taylor Swift is adding another impressive milestone to her career, as she has been selected to be inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

“From the time I started writing songs as a child, I fixated on Nashville as the perfect place to be,” the pop star, 36, said in a statement read by Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame executive director Mark Ford during the Tuesday, August 11, livestream revealing this year’s inductees. “I wanted to learn with and from the best and get to immerse myself in a community of storytellers, and thankfully Nashville turned out to be exactly what I’d dreamed of.”

Swift continued, “A town that validated and prioritized hard work, determination and imagination. Where the writers show up to work every day even when the mysterious muses and the magic don’t. To be honored by this city I love so much is a beautiful thing, and I’m very grateful.”

The “Elizabeth Taylor” singer was selected to join the Nashville Hall of Fame as part of the contemporary songwriter/artist category. She is the youngest musician to be inducted into this hall of fame.

The 2026 class also includes Lyle Lovett, Shawn Camp, Lee Thomas Miller and Bruce Channel. The ceremony will take place this fall.

This isn’t the first time Swift has become the youngest individual to be inducted into a hall of fame. Earlier this year, Swift was the youngest-ever female honoree at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame. Her induction ceremony took place in June.

During her speech, Swift thanked her family and loved ones for being by her side throughout her career.

“It was easy to choose songwriting over everything else in my life, but it couldn’t have been easy for my parents and my brother to just pick up and move our entire family from Pennsylvania to relocate to Nashville so that I could hone my craft in the songwriting capital of the world,” she said at the time. “But after making obvious that this was not even remotely a temporary phase their teen daughter was going through, they uprooted their entire lives to move me to Music City. And even though words are supposed to kind of be my thing, I will never be able to express my gratitude to you guys for doing that for me. You’re the reason I’m here tonight.”

The Grammy winner also expressed her appreciation for the fans who have supported her over the years.

“Nothing makes me happier than when someone tells me that they used to listen to my music with their parent, and now decades later, they listen to it with their own child,” she continued. “Or that they listen to it with their best friend or when a couple tells me that ‘Love Story’ is their song. Or where somebody does like a cute little dance to ‘The Fate of Ophelia,’ or I hear people in different countries singing ‘Opalite’ in their own accents, or someone tells me that the song ‘Enchanted’ gets their baby to stop crying. I’m humbled by the ways that fans have immortalized my songs in their own individual ways, allowing them to be the underscore of some of their real-life expeditions on this earth, the magnificent moments as important to me as the seemingly mundane.”
