Too good! After Taylor Swift fell off a treadmill for singing along too hard to Drake in a hilarious Apple Music video, the rapper filmed an ad of his own, lip-synching to one of the pop superstar’s most famous tracks. Watch the hilarious commercial above!
In the clip, which debuted Sunday, November 20, during the American Music Awards 2016, the “Hotline Bling” singer, 30, starts off lifting weighs in the gym with his trainer and listening to hip-hop. But as soon as the trainer exits the room, Drake quickly changes to the “Pop Workout” playlist on his iPhone.
Swift’s “Bad Blood” starts blaring out the speakers, and Drake begins dancing and flexing in front of the mirror. He’s so pumped up that he even attempts to bench press a way-too-heavy weight.
Since he’s too busy belting out the catchy lyrics, the Toronto native drops the weight and falls off the bench. “Distractingly good,” the text reads.
The “Shake It Off” singer posted the commercial on her Instagram Sunday, writing, “YES @champagnepapi 👍💪✨ #drakevsbenchpress.”
Drake and Swift have been spending time together lately and even ignited romance rumors after the “Wildest Dreams” songstress dropped by his birthday party last month. However, a source previously told Us Weekly that the pair are just friends. The New York Post‘s Page Six also reported that the duo are collaborating and recording music together.
