Maci Bookout's son Bentley is going through the terrible twos!
In a clip from Tuesday's episode of Teen Mom, the 20-year-old journalism major watches in agony as her 2-year-old son throws a temper tantrum when she brings him to daycare for the first time.
When Bookout and boyfriend of 16 months Kyle King attempt to leave, Bentley begins to cry and runs toward the MTV reality star. "I want mommy!"
Not wanting to see her child in pain, Bookout steps outside to speak with the director of education, who explains that Bentley "has to learn to trust the teachers" and to "be in that kind of social environment."
As the crying toddler struggles to open the door, King, 23, reenters the room. "You okay? Mama's just outside. It's okay."
Teen Mom airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. (EST) on MTV.
