‘The Bachelorette’ Week Eight: JoJo Fletcher Is Too Distraught to Hand Out Roses

Holy hometowns! The Bachelorette upped its emotional drama during the July 18 episode, when JoJo Fletcher traipsed across the United States to visit the homes of her men, and then didn’t even hand out any roses! Girl was too busy sobbing in an airplane hangar.

The season 12 Bachelorette first headed to Colorado, where Chase got teary and finally confessed his feelings. Although his mom claimed their family isn’t big on crying, the evidence seemed to contradict her. But she was a cool mom anyway, in the same vein as Fletcher’s wine-sipping mom.

Fletcher couldn’t return Chase’s love and left Colorado’s snowy hillsides behind to see Rodgers in sunny California. Weirdly, he decided that his high school was the romantic spot du jour, and somehow Fletcher didn’t have an issue with it.

JoJo’s emotionally charged, whirlwind world tour to find love comes back to the U.S. as she travels across country to visit Chase, Jordan, Luke and Robby.

Of course, Jordan’s famous brother came up for the millionth time, but viewers were still left without a decent explanation for all the family tension. More love talk followed, and then Fletcher flew to Florida to deal with Robby’s ex-girlfriend scandal. Did he dump his ex for a shot with Fletcher? Robby said he didn’t and she believed him.

In other news, Luke didn’t immediately throw out the L-word during his hometown date, which confused poor Fletcher. But moments before the all-important rose ceremony, he pulled the brunette aside to at last share his feelings. But who will get a rose and make it to the final three?
