The Revenant won the award for Best Motion Picture – Drama at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 10.
The dramatic flick was up against Carol (which was considered a favorite with five nominations), Mad Max: Fury Road, Room and Spotlight.
The 73rd annual Golden Globe Awards were held at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, and the show was hosted for the fourth time by Ricky Gervais.
