Battle of the coaches! Season 10 of The Voice kicked off on Monday, February 29 — without one familiar face. Fans took to Twitter to discuss how much they missed Gwen Stefani while others were ecstatic for Christina Aguilera‘s return.

The No Doubt frontwoman, 46, first joined the NBC singing competition last season. She developed a relationship with fellow coach Blake Shelton during that time and voiced (pun intended) how much she loves the show.

“I think I wouldn’t even have my new record if it wasn’t for this show,” Stefani told the Today show back in October. “This show is for me, I think it might be the funnest thing I’ve ever done.” Us Weekly broke the news last month that she will be country superstar Shelton’s adviser this season.

Aguilera, meanwhile, has been involved with the series off and on since its debut in 2011. The coach panel frequently changes and now consists of the “Fighter” singer, 35, Pharrell Williams and vets Shelton and Adam Levine.

“CHRISTINA IS BACK ON THE VOICE YAAA,” one tweeter wrote on Monday night. A second added: “I love Gwen but I’m happy Christina is back.”

Other viewers, however, aren’t thrilled that Stefani is out of the picture — for now. “I’ll try to give Christina a chance, but I gotta be honest.. I just wanna watch gwen and blake,” one commenter wrote.

Another tweeter got straight to the point. “I like Gwen on The Voice better than Christina.”
