So much for the cat’s pajamas!
An IRL cat burglar, Brigit, is swiping underwear from neighbors in the New Zealand suburb of Hamilton East.
The Tonkinese’s owner, Sarah Nathan, posted a photo of the guilty kitty in front of her booty — an impressive collection of printed socks and boxer briefs.
“Now it’s getting silly,” Nathan captioned on Facebook. “Every morning we wake up to more. I’ve put notes in every letterbox in the street. Please share if you know someone who lives in the George St. area.”
The New Zealand Herald reports that Brigit has collected 11 pairs of underpants and over 50 socks in the last two months — “all men’s,” Nathan, who also posted a missing undies ad on Reddit, told the Herald. “She’s got really specific taste.”
And it seems she’s a serial offender, too.
“In our last house she’d bring home a bit of everything,” Nathan continued. “Men’s undies, women’s undies, togs, she even brought home a hockey shin pad and a jumper.”
