In the Season 4 premiere of his hit show, Billy on the Street, comedian Billy Eichner proved that Tina Fey does, surprisingly, have some flaws. Playing a new game titled “LaTina Fey,” the 30 Rock creator was handed an Oscar and given one minute to thank “as many Latino performers as you can think of.”
Right out of the gate it was clear that the SNL alum, 45, wasn’t going to be good at this game. Her first answer was, “The woman from Jane the Virgin,” referring to Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez.
She also listed actors Eva Longoria, Lou Diamond Phillips, Freddie Prinze Jr., J.Lo, and Marc Anthony. But some of the Latinos she simply used descriptors for.
“The guy that’s in Congress” and “the really handsome guy who was on Law & Order” were two of her answers that Eichner somehow let slide. Fey certainly didn’t even come close to hitting the goal of 20, but in the last few seconds, the host urges her to name just one more star.
Forgetting about Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, and tons of others, Fey blanks and literally falls on the ground.
Rodriguez tweeted the clip, writing, “Was that an invite to host the Oscars with you #TinaFey because I will. I accept. (Says woman from Jane the Virgin).”
Eichner recently told Us Weekly of Season 4: “As we go further into the season, we have big obstacle courses, things we couldn’t afford to do in the past. The guest lineup is a dream lineup of people — Tina Fey, Chris Pratt, Anna Kendrick, Julianne Moore, Will Ferrell, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jason Sudeikis — I mean, it’s pretty crazy!”
