A little fun at Erin’s expense! On Monday, May 11, Dancing With the Stars fans were all wondering why co-host Erin Andrews was seemingly rolling her eyes and making faces, especially during the emotional proposal between contestant Noah Galloway and his girlfriend Jamie Boyd.
But the sports reporter, 37, later clarified to Us Weekly, tweeting, “@usweekly uhhhhh it’s called an oh great I’m going to bawl on camera..ugly cry face alert.”
Apparently Andrews’ co-host Tom Bergeron was a little jealous of her attention-getting antics, and decided to show off his own “ugly cry face.”
In a funny Instagram clip, posted by both DWTS hosts, Bergeron, 60, declares, “Erin taught me how to show empathy!” before rolling his eyes and gasping with fake exasperation.
“I was jealous of all the press @erinandrews got for her ugly cry face last night, so I asked her to teach it to me!” Bergeron captioned the video.
