Vampire Diaries’ Mystic Falls Is Taken Over by “Supernatural Terrorists” in Season 7: Watch

Oh, it is on. The humans of Mystic Falls on The Vampire Diaries better pack up and go ASAP, because trouble has arrived in the quaint town. Again. A teaser for Season 7 of The CW’s popular drama reveals that Mrs. Lily Salvatore and her bloodsucking witchy friends are taking over.

“The deal has been made: We don’t mess with them, they don’t mess with us,” her much too-trusting vampire-only son Stefan assures in the clip.

“We’re making a huge mistake handing our hometown over to a bunch of supernatural terrorists,” Caroline foreshadows rather obviously as Lily and her gang of vamps with witch powers run around draining humans and setting them on fire, while bringing the good vampires literally to their knees.

It seems that things will get so bad even Stefan’s impressive vampire strength and speed aren’t enough to combat the newest inhabitants of Mystic Falls, and he resorts to building a bomb.

But it doesn’t look all bad. Amid the trouble, it appears Stefan and a blonde beauty (please let it be Caroline!) take a timeout for a hot makeout session. There were no indications of a new love for Stefan’s deliciously naughty brother, Damon, but maybe it’s still too soon after his love, Elena, entered her Sleeping Beauty-like slumber at the end of Season 6.

The new season will see much of the regular cast returning, including Paul Wesley as Stefan, Ian Somerhalder as Damon, and Candice Accola as Caroline. Nina Dobrev, who played Elena, left after last season, as did Michael Trevino (Tyler).

The Vampire Diaries Season 7 kicks off on Thursday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
