Which Modern Family Actor Should Win an Emmy?

With less than 24 hours to go until the Sunday's Primetime Emmy Awards, fans are eagerly awaiting the opening of the envelopes.

While most stars are up against other leading actors and actresses in the same genre, one award category in particular has four co-stars going head to head this year!

Modern Family's Ty Burrell, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ed O'Neill are all up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. Three of the actors, who play Phil Dunphy, Cameron Tucker and Mitchell Pritchett respectively, duke it out for an Emmy for the second year in a row. (Stonestreet took home the golden statue last year while O'Neill, who plays Jay Pritchett, was snubbed for a nod in 2010.)

The foursome is up against Chris Colfer from Glee and Two and a Half Men's Jon Cryer.

The funny men aren't the only Modern Family stars who received nominations: Julie Bowen (who plays Claire Dunphy) and Sofia Vergara (who plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett) are both up for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, also for the second year in a row. (They lost out in 2010 to Glee's Jane Lynch.)

The hit ABC show also received a nod for Outstanding Comedy Series — the same award it took home last year. The series is up against Glee, Parks and Recreation, The Office, 30 Rock and The Big Bang Theory.

The 2011 Emmy Awards will air live from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET. on Sunday, September 18.
