Another summer of twists, blindsides and backdoors is upon us — and we now know the 14 new players set to compete on Big Brother 28.
Yes, that’s 14 new players — and any Big Brother fan will tell you, the modern game is played with at least 16. Fans have speculated for weeks that returning players or reality TV veterans would factor into the upcoming season, and while CBS didn’t say specifically who else might join, the network announced that “additional surprise Houseguests will be revealed on air” during the Thursday, July 9, premiere.
“This new group of Houseguests is stepping into a summer where nothing is as it seems, where every twist rewrites the rules, and where time becomes the ultimate twist,” CBS teased in a press release.
Those twists will, as always, remain a mystery until premiere night, but with the season’s time travel theme, fans can expect “a game where the past, present and future collide.”
Big Brother 28 kicks off with a 90-minute premiere on CBS and Paramount+ Thursday, July 9, at 8 p.m. ET. The live feeds will open on Paramount+, PlutoTV and for a limited time on the show’s official YouTube channel Friday, July 10, at 9 p.m. ET.
