Every Celebrity Cameo You May Have Missed During Madonna's 2026 MTV VMAs Performance

Madonna brought some very famous friends along to her opening performance at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards. The Queen of Pop, 68, took to the stage at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 27, where she and Sabrina Carpenter performed their dance duet “Bring Your Love.” Charli XCX joined the “Vogue” singer on stage for their collaboration, “Danceteria Afterhours,” a remix from Madonna’s most recent album, Confessions II. During the performance, Madonna was joined on stage by a handful of other famous faces, including Julia Garner and more. Julia Garner, who was tapped to play Madonna in a biopic before the project was canceled in 2023, was spotted on stage wearing a black one-piece, tights and tall boots. Madonna’s longtime friend Debi Mazar sat with Garner on stage.
