With Stefan (Paul Wesley) under Klaus' control, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) must learn to live without him. Meanwhile, Jeremy (Steve McQUeen) will be reunited with his dead vampire ex-girlfriends.

Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs star as two twenty-something waitresses who appear to have nothing in common. Max (Dennings) comes from a working-class family, while Caroline (Behrs) was born rich but is now down on her luck. The duo become fast friends and continually find ways to make ends meet.

Four months after Michael's exit, James Spader signs on as the new CEO, and causes a stir when he leaves behind a cryptic list. "It has a line down the middle, and everyone is on one side or the other," says exec producer Paul Lieberstein.

Christina Ricci stars in this series centered around the iconic airline Pan American World Airways during the '60s. The show chronicles Ricci and her fellow flight attendants adventures in the skies working for the world-famous airline.

Desperate Housewives (Sept. 25, ABC)

At the end of last season, the five women helped cover up the accidental murder of Gabby's stepfather. Desperate Housewives' eighth and final season will bring back some familiar faces, including Susan's daughter, Julie, and runaway neighbor Katherine Mayfair.

When the drama returns, Serena Van deer Woodsen (Blake Lively) will be partying in L.A. while BFF Blair Waldord (Leighton Meester) preps for her wedding in Paris. Missing this season? Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen) and Vanessa Abrams (Jessica Szohor), who both left at the end of season 4.

Now the practice's sole owner, Addie (Kate Walsh), is pursuing motherhood (on her own, via a clinic) and love. "She knows Sam might not be ready for a baby, but she wants to make things work," exec producer Betsy Beers says.

Lumen (Julia Stiles) has left and Dexter (Michael C. Hall) "is back to his killing ways," Hall tells Us, as a spate of grisly murders stuns Miami. Also, Dexter worries his son will inherit his thirst for murder.

Behind bars after last season's car accident, House and prison doctor Jessica Adams (Odette Annable) "have a connection," Annable hints of their bond in the new episodes. "He awakens her to the reason she got into medicine."
