3:13 p.m. PT: While posing for photos, Joe Alwyn asked, “Oh, did I blink? I did? Cool, thanks man!”

3:17 p.m.: Johnny Galecki arrived with girlfriend Alaina Meyer, who had her arm around his shoulder as they posed for photos. They looked like they were attached at the hip as they walked around.

3:20 p.m.: Alison Brie and Dave Franco stepped out of their car as she blew a kiss to someone on the red carpet. Right after, Franco helped unfurl the train of Brie’s gown.

3:42 p.m.: Ben Stiller greeted Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher as they walked by. Fisher told Stiller’s 16-year-old daughter, Ella Olivia, that she looked “beautiful” and “so grown up.” Baron Cohen then told Ella, “You’re gonna make me and Isla feel old. We have known you since you were born!”

4:14 p.m.: Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban held hands as they walked the red carpet. She looked up at a fan on the bleachers and shouted, “Happy birthday!”

4:29 p.m.: Chrissy Metz and Janelle Monáe’s outfits somehow attached as Metz repeated, “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry!”

4:32 p.m.: Lady Gaga turned around to thank a firefighter. (She was forced to evacuate her Malibu home in November after the catastrophic Woolsey Fire.)

4:46 p.m.: Rami Malek and girlfriend Lucy Boynton walked inside holding hands. He kissed her on the cheek outside of the ballroom. An older woman watched them nearby and said, “I’m gonna cry.”

4:52 p.m.: A ticket checker asked Amy Poehler to “say something funny” before she entered the venue, to which she replied, “No, you.” He said something back to her and she responded, “Debatable.” After walking through security, Poehler told Maya Rudolph about the exchange. Rudolph shrieked with laughter and echoed, “Debatable!” back to her pal.

5:24 p.m.: Rami Malek popped open a bottle of champagne and made a toast to Queen’s Brian May.

5:34 p.m.: Emily Blunt raved to Penélope Cruz that her children, Hazel, 4, and Violet, 2, are big fans of the both of them. “My kids said me, ‘Can you actually fly?’” the Mary Poppins Returns star said with a laugh. “She’s almost 5. I have a 2-and-a-half-year-old too. They love you so much.”

5:52 p.m.: Yvonne Strahovski talked to someone about the California wildfires while waiting on line for the bathroom. “We evacuated. The house is good, thank God,” she said. “My son was 4-and-a-half weeks old when we evacuated, so we had to figure it out somehow.”
