Kim Gravel has fallen in love with her 10th anniversary celebration at QVC.
The woman behind Belle by Kim Gravel fashion marked a decade at the home shopping network on Sunday, August 23, by launching her very first home-themed Today’s Special Value.
“It was the item because it is the front of door,” Gravel, 55, exclusively shared with Us on August 17, when explaining her illuminated pampas wreaths, garland and mini trees for the holiday season and beyond. “It’s so different. It’s fresh, and it’s fashion for your home. This is the best TSV I think we’ve ever done in any category.”
While the fashion designer has found success with clothing, her LWYA beauty line and newly launched jewelry collection, the home space is something Gravel has always had a passion for.
“When I say fashion’s my day job, home is my hot side hustle. Home is what I love,” she shared. “Home is my heart. It really is because I love designing clothes and beauty. But home is textiles, bedding, all of that stuff. We live our lives in our home — aesthetics matter!”
For the past 10 years, Gravel has built a special community with the QVC viewer. Most live shows feature unpredictable phone calls from shoppers and text messages from viewers called “textimonials.”
Along the way, Gravel will casually sell thousands of pairs of jeans and inspire women to love who they are.
“The customer and the viewer is our boss, but she’s our friend. She’s our family. She’s our sisterhood,” Gravel told Us. “That is why I do what I do. It’s not because we make a great pair of jeans — because we do — but it’s the viewer. It’s our girl watching. That has been such a blessing.”
In celebration of 10 years, Gravel took Us behind the scenes of her latest Today’s Special Value. Keep reading to see how the magic happens on and off air to bring products to viewers at home.
