Tony nominee Ridloff (Chidren of a Lesser God) is the first deaf actor to join the drama, playing a survivor who uses her senses and American Sign Language to communicate and read people. Connie sees her disability as a strength and is the eyes of the group. She’s also Kelly’s sister.

While you may recognize Fogler from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Luke isn’t full of magic on the AMC drama. Instead, he’s focused on the real kindness inside people. Even though he may not be the physically strongest, he has the heart that a group of survivors needs.

Magna is the badass of the group – well, they all did survive the apocalypse, but still – and comes from a rough background. However, she brings something to the group in her protective nature. She also is in a relationship with Yukimo.

Professional dancer Theory plays Connie’s very protective older sister, Kelly. The actress is a member of the deaf community, as well as she has hearing loss in her right ear. While Kelly is the youngest of the group, she is still a warrior and an interpreter for her sister.

Fearless yet kind, Yukimo leads the group with girlfriend Magna. She’s extremely loyal to the group, stays level headed and truly cares about Magna.

Of course, Judith Grimes isn’t a new addition to the show, but actress Cailey Fleming is. With the show’s six-year time jump, the 11-year-old actress is taking over as Rick Grimes’ daughter. Fleming also played the young Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
