One reviewer with a “flip flop fetish” raved about how even though they’ve owned over 100 pairs, these OluKais are “the best flip flops [they] have ever owned.” They even wore them to Disneyland, a true test of comfort and durability, and the results were “awesome!” Other shoppers gushed about the “leather-like look” of these sandals as well as the “great arch support.” Someone even said “they leave every other flip flop in the dust!”
These flip flops, which are part of the Makai (Toward the Ocean) Collection, are water-resistant and quick-drying, so they’re the perfect companions to wear to the beach or the pool. Even the upper is water-resistant! The upper comes in a variety of colors and prints, but one thing they all have in common is the subtle OluKai logo up toward the toes.
These shoes have a jersey knit lining and neoprene foam backer, adding protection and coziness that may even rival that of Uggs. They also have a soft nylon toe post webbing and a compression molded EVA midsole more even more added comfort. They contour to our feet for the best fit possible without any squeezing, chafing or pinching!

The sole of the shoe is made of a non-marking rubber featuring a coral reef lug design, which matches with whichever color we choose for our upper! An adorable detail. Speaking of those upper colors, let’s get into those now!
There are 13 different versions of this shoe available. There are darker shades like Black, Basalt, Blueberry and Dark Java, but there are others that sneak a little outside of the box, as well! Pewter has a metallic sheen, while other shades add in a cute floral print!
Kai Blue, Navy and Paprika all have a faded white floral pattern on part of the upper, while shades like Mauve and Teal actually feature a print on the underside of the upper! This shoe brings out a new surprise from every angle!
This spring and summer, when all of our friends are complaining about throbbing toes and fatigued feet, we’ll be strolling right along without a care in the world. We’ll make sure to share just where we got our Ohanas, though. Friendship flip flops is a super cute idea, no?
