My Amazon fashion wishlist is getting dangerously long, and the retailer’s latest fall arrivals are entirely to blame. I keep stumbling across sweaters, matching sets and lightweight jackets that look far more expensive and fashion-forward than their Amazon origins suggest. Better yet, so many of them solve that awkward seasonal dilemma of what to wear when fall is here, but winter is quickly approaching.

I found 17 pieces worth wearing through both seasons, including creamy knits for chilly days, striped knit sets, cool plaid jackets and even a pair of polka-dot barrel jeans. There are pieces for WFH days, weekend errands, office outfits and basically every cold-weather plan in between. With the most affordable find ringing in at just $8, there’s plenty of room to grab more than one.

17 Chic Fall-to-Winter Pieces That Just Dropped on Amazon

Tops and Sweaters

1. My Favorite: I basically live in hoodies once temperatures drop, but this knit sweater option makes my favorite lazy-day layer look so much chicer. The oversized fit and creamy neutral shade still deliver all the cozy appeal I want for cold winter days.

2. Cable Crush: The intricate stitching on this 100% cotton sweater makes it look like something I’d find folded on a boutique table for twice the price. I love the coffee-brown shade with chocolate trousers now and dark-wash denim once winter hits.

3. Denim Details: This denim-collar sweater gives me the perfectly layered look without actually wrestling two tops underneath a coat. The chocolate brown knit and denim trim make jeans or trousers feel instantly more styled.

4. Figure-Flattering: Consider this waist-cinching sweater my answer to all the boxy knits taking over my closet. The side tie defines the waist, while the oatmeal shade makes it easy to wear straight through winter.

5. Caramel Crush: This cable-knit turtleneck looks like the kind of classic sweater I’d pull out year after year. The warm brown shade and textured neckline practically beg to be paired with dark-wash jeans and leather boots.

6. Totally Trending: This striped quarter-zip sweater nails that preppy, slightly sporty look I keep seeing everywhere this fall. I love the creamy color palette for now, but it’ll look just as cute peeking out from underneath a winter coat later.

7. French-Girl Twist: This striped long-sleeve top gives classic French-girl stripes a much more modern silhouette. The fitted waist and extra-long sleeves make it feel cool enough to build an entire outfit around.

Pants and Skirts

8. Pretty Polka Dots: If there’s one pair of statement barrel jeans that could convince me to abandon my everyday denim, it’s these. The chocolate brown color and curved barrel silhouette make the playful polka dots feel surprisingly fashion-forward. Plus, they’re just $8!

9. Looks Expensive: This midi denim skirt has the structured shape and thoughtful seamwork I usually associate with much pricier denim. The full midi silhouette makes even a basic sweater-and-boots outfit look instantly elevated.

10. Pinstripe Play: I never thought I’d call sweatpants sophisticated, but this trendy striped pair changed my mind. The chocolate pinstripes and exaggerated wide-leg shape make them cool enough to wear well beyond the couch.

Matching Sets

11. Scandi Style: The understated stripes on this loose lounge set immediately reminded me of the cool Scandinavian basics all over my Pinterest boards. Its relaxed top and extra-flowy pants nail that effortless, expensive-looking pajama aesthetic.

12. Throwback Stripes: The retro color palette is what immediately sold me on this striped knit set. I’d wear the matching shorts now, then give the chocolate-and-blue sweater a second life with dark-wash denim all winter.

13. Seeing Spots: I’ll always choose loungewear that feels a little more fun, and this polka-dot matching set immediately caught my eye. I love how the tiny print dresses up the wide-leg pants and cropped sweatshirt without sacrificing comfort.

Layers

14. Plaid, Please: I can already tell this plaid bomber jacket would become one of those layers I throw over everything. The tiny brown check looks especially expensive with cream knits, dark denim and all the chocolate accessories in my fall wardrobe.

15. Outdoor Chic: I’d happily trade my basic zip-up for this oversized olive windbreaker on chilly fall mornings. The olive green shade feels especially elevated, while the roomy silhouette leaves plenty of space for layering as temperatures drop.

16. Scarf It Up: I love how this cropped trench jacket basically comes with its own built-in styling trick. The plaid scarf detail coordinates with the turned-up cuffs, making the olive layer look so much more expensive than $40.

17. Sporty Statement: I’m convinced this cropped stripe windbreaker could make even leggings and sneakers look like a thought-out outfit. The bold navy trim breaks up the creamy khaki fabric for a retro look that feels surprisingly current.
