I’m mentally ready for fall outfits, but physically? It’s still too warm to even think about pulling out a sweater. While I wait for autumn’s crisp temps to roll in, I’m starting my seasonal wardrobe with Gap’s 90s relaxed jeans that I can wear with tank tops and sandals now, then sweatshirts and loafers later. And apparently, Hailey Bieber had the same idea last year — she wore the exact same pair of Gap jeans from late summer straight into fall, and now they’re on major sale.
Bieber was spotted in Gap’s 90’s Low Rise Loose Jeans last August, which she styled with a fitted white tank, black flip-flops, slim oval sunglasses and a woven tote. Then in October, she styled the jeans with a green sweatshirt, flip-flops and a structured black bag, proving the loose denim works just as well once cooler weather arrives. I love a piece that can span seasons, and now I’m tempted to recreate both outfits.

The Gap jeans have a low-rise waist and loose, straight-leg silhouette that gives them the relaxed ’90s look. They’re made from 99% organic cotton and 1% elastane, so you get that classic denim structure with some stretch. The black wash is perfect for fall, but they also come in several blue washes, ranging from light and lived-in to deeper denim.
Choose from sizes 24 to 35, as well as short, regular and long lengths. They’re also machine washable, which makes them practical enough to become the kind of pair I reach for on repeat.
