Kate Middleton revealed that she has been using Trilogy Organic Certified Rosehip Oil for over 10 years, even while she was pregnant. The skincare product aims to improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles. The 1-ounce bottle is rather small, though, and a bit pricey. Lucky for Us, there’s a near-identical alternative hiding right on Amazon: The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rosehip Seed Oil.

Designed for all skin types, this $11 rosehip oil targets signs of aging, dryness and dullness. They key ingredient in The Ordinary pick is rosa canina seed oil, which has a rich composition of essential fatty acids and antioxidants, both of which work on fine lines and scarring. In fact, that’s the only ingredient. And it’s the only ingredient in Middleton’s pick, too, so it makes sense to try the cheaper version.

To use the rosehip oil, The Ordinary recommends using it once a day, ideally at night. Apply a few drops to your hands and press the product into clean skin. That’s it! The result is more radiant-looking skin — and who doesn’t want that?

With all new skincare products, though, you should do a patch test to ensure you don’t have a negative reaction. The formula is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, alcohol-free and silicone-free, though. So, hopefully it’s an automatic winner.

The Ordinary’s quality products and fair prices are what to continue to gain the brand fans. Amazon shoppers agree that it’s worth every penny of the $11.

“This stuff is basically golden hour for your face. A few drops at night and I wake up looking like I drink water and mind my business — even when I don’t,” writes one verified buyer.

“Perfect addition to my skincare routine,” shares a five-star reviewer. “This hydrates & moisturizes your skin so well and brightens it. I also use with my gua sha. You really can’t beat the quality + price + what you get for the bottle size!”

If Middleton is seeing this, we just might convince her to save a little dough for The Ordinary rosehip oil. But, at the very least, we found a new addition to our skincare routine!
