Katie Holmes is not afraid of being an outfit repeater. Year after year, paparazzi photograph the actress in the same pieces she seemingly pulls out season after season (see? celebrities are just like us!), and our favorite of her capsule collection has to be her signature red velvet flats.
The Le Monde Béryl Velveteen Mary Jane Flat has been in Holmes’s rotation for years. Some reports of the Dawson’s Creek alum sporting the luxury footwear brand date back to 2020. In a photograph taken in August 2025, the Happy Hours star styled the flats with a mixed-media Rachel Comey dress for a casual day in New York City. But while Holmes is frequently spotted wearing the style in various colors, a ruby-red hue appears to be her favorite for summertime.

The berry-colored Le Monde shoe was a Nordstrom exclusive. Unfortunately, it is no longer available for purchase. Interested shoppers can, however, snag a similar pair at Walmart for under $30. Don’t let the affordable price tag fool you, though – these flats are just as chic as Holmes’s over-$500 pair.
The Le Monde Mary Janes boast a half-inch heel, while the Oyedens Ballet Flats are described as wedges. While Holmes’s style features a buckle, Oyedens are slip-on and give off a more casual, everyday look due to their rubber construction (Le Monde is made from a brick velvet). They’re perfect to pair with denim or linen and would be a great shoe for running errands or for anyone whose summer itinerary involves running after a toddler.
Holmes loves a statement shoe, and her signature Mary Janes are a fan favorite.
