Meghan Markle’s Classic Cardigan Is So Good That It Sold Out — So We Found a Lookalike

It's the ultimate summer-to-fall staple

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - MAY 17: Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex attends the inauguration of the Lost Screen Memorial, ahead of the opening of the 79th World Health Assembly at Place des Nations on May 17, 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. “Lost Screen Memorial” is a commemorative art installation displaying illuminated smartphone lock screens symbolizing 50 children who tragically lost their lives following harm associated with social media. Before we know it, chilly temperatures will creep back into our mornings and we’ll have to dress accordingly. The solution is to smartly layer our outfits, and Meghan Markle just gave us some inspiration with her black and cream cardigan from Heidi Merrick. Unsurprisingly, the transitional wardrobe staple is sold out, but Amazon has a similar version that’ll give you the Duchess look.

Markle shared snapshots of her recent summer vacation on Instagram, and her cozy knit looked right at home between the beach trips. The neutral colors mean the design works with whatever you toss it over, and you can get that same ease with the Grace Karin Contrast Cardigan.

Similar to Markle’s layer, the Amazon find is primarily black with cream contrast at the hems and around the collar. It’s a small but powerful distinction that makes a look more interesting, yet still feels simple enough to pair with other closet basics. Markle paired her sweater with a black top and slicked-back bun, but you can also wear the alternative option open over a tank, tee or dress or buttoned up to act as a top.

One thing that buyers like even more on the more affordable find is that it features imitation pearl buttons. The detail elevates the under-$30 piece, so it’ll look like you picked it up at a boutique. While we’re partial to the black and white combination, Amazon offers others, too. The orange, beige and cream option screams fall, and the gray contrast is another neutral you’ll wear all the time.

Shoppers love how this cardigan fits, as well as the adorable button detail and how easy it is to layer for various seasons.

“I could see myself dressing this sweater up or down. I wore it to work. It’s very cute, and the pattern looks expensive,” a five-star reviewer shared.

“I love this sweater! It’s not too thick or too thin,” another happy buyer wrote. “I washed it with no problem, and I hung [it] dry even though the instructions read to dry flat.”

Even if you don’t go with the Markle-adjacent black and cream look, this sleek colorblocked style adds a dose of fun to any outfit . . . and will keep you warm when September sneaks up on Us!
