Banana Ball star Travis Moniot has an All-Star support system in his wife, Sydney Moniot.
Sydney, 27, routinely shares sneak peeks into her life with Travis, 29, who won the 2026 Banana Ball championship as a third baseman with the Texas Tailgaters on Saturday, October 10.
The former Michigan State gymnast posted a celebratory video of herself and a group of other Tailgaters WAGs after the team emerged victorious over the Savannah Bananas with a final score of 2-1 on Saturday.
“POV: our husbands just won the banana bowl,” she captioned the clip.
Sydney and Travis went on their first date in July 2022 — brunch and a trip to an arcade in Texas, for the record — before committing to a long-distance relationship, Sydney revealed in a TikTok video posted in September 2025 that has been viewed more than 130,000 times.
After Travis was released by the Chicago White Sox, who drafted him in 2018, he moved to Dallas to be near Sydney permanently.
“God had bigger plans!” Sydney captioned a slide of her video.
The couple got engaged in May 2024 and tied the knot one year later. “A day I’ll forever thank the Lord for!! 💝💐🩵,” Sydney shared via Instagram at the time.
Sydney celebrated the couple’s one-year anniversary earlier this year, writing via Instagram, “One year down and forever to go 🕊️.”
“The best year ever!!” she gushed. “So much laughter, so many memories, so much growth, and somehow even the ordinary days with you are my favorite. You are my best friend, my safe place, and the person who makes everywhere feel like home <3 I love you!! Always!!”
The couple recently revealed that their family will be expanding, with Sydney posting a video of herself finding out she was pregnant in August.
“Obviously shocked,” she captioned the heartwarming moment. “Absolutely overjoyed. And so incredibly grateful for this blessing 🥹😭”
The couple is expecting a boy, due in March 2027.
Last month, Travis reflected on a “full circle” moment in their relationship that came together thanks to Banana Ball’s director of entertainment, Zack Frongillo.
“On July 17th, 2022, Sydney and I went on our first date,” he shared via Instagram. “After a great morning of brunch and an arcade, we were driving to drop her off when she said there was a ‘new song’ she loved and wanted to play. That song was ‘What My World Spins Around’ by Jordan Davis. I CLEARLY remember the stoplight we were sitting at when the lyrics ‘when you lean in and kiss me’ played. I spent the rest of the song overthinking whether or not she was hinting at a first-date kiss… to this day, she promises she was not. 😂”
Travis continued, “Fast forward four years, and we’re married, soon-to-be parents, and getting a random midweek text from @zackfrong11 asking if we were available for a walk-up in Arlington with @jordandavisofficial … to ‘What My World Spins Around.’”
The baseball star shared photos from the once-in-a-lifetime experience, which came to fruition in front of a packed stadium at Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers.
“Getting to share that moment together, in the city where we met, was such an incredible gift,” he said.
