Brittany Mahomes took a subtle dig at Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak after her husband, Patrick Mahomes, and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Raiders on Sunday, October 4.
“‘We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game.’ 🤭,” Brittany, 31, posted via Instagram on Sunday, showing off her snakeskin outfit from the game in Sin City earlier in the day.
The caption was a reference to a halftime interview Kubiak, 39, gave to CBS, during which he guaranteed the Raiders would win the AFC West showdown. Vegas led Kansas City, 30-27, at the time.
“Not good enough, gotta be better,” Kubiak told CBS reporter Tracy Wolfson. “But you know what? We’re winning. We’re gonna win the game.”
After being outscored 20-14 in the fourth quarter, Kubiak and the Raiders did not, in fact, win the game. The Chiefs emerged victorious, 30-27, improving their record to 4-0 on the season. The Raiders, meanwhile, dropped to 3-1.
Brittany has never shied away from gloating about Kansas City victories, as evidenced by her social media antics after the Chiefs’ Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos last month.
After the Chiefs defeated the Broncos on Monday Night Football, Brittany took to her Instagram Story and shared a screenshot from ESPN’s Get Up, which showed all four panelists — Mike Greenberg, Dominique Foxworth, Tedy Bruschi and Rex Ryan — picking Denver to win the game.
“Oopsies,” Brittany captioned the picture.
Brittany and the couple’s three kids — daughters Sterling, 5, and Golden, 20 months, and son Bronze, 3 — have been there every step of the way this season amid Patrick’s return to action after he suffered torn ACL and LCL ligaments in his left knee in December 2025.
Sterling and Bronze left voice notes for her dad in a story published by The Players’ Tribune on September 14.
“Daddy, I love you,” Sterling said. “I’m so happy he gets to go back to playing football. I love you so much.”
Bronze added, “Good job for all your rehab. We’re so happy that you get to play football again and we get to watch you. You’re the best daddy in the world!”
Patrick has been impressive in his return from injury, crediting the new play-action style of the Kansas City offense.
“It’s kind of opened up more things and made throws easier, more one-on-one type throws, so I give guys chances to make plays,” he told reporters last week. “We’ve had a lot of young receivers come in. I’ve gotten more and more reps with those guys, and it’s hard to replicate reps under pressure in the game.”
Patrick added, “I’ve gotten more and more comfortable throwing it to where they like to catch the football and then they go out there and just make the plays.”
After their bye week, the Chiefs return to action on Sunday, October 18, when they host the Los Angeles Chargers.
