Jen Vrabel joined her husband, New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel, in Utah over the weekend for an emergency marriage summit, according to Page Six.

The two were reportedly seen at an upscale restaurant in Park City on Sunday, April 26, just days after more photos emerged of Mike, 50, cozying up to former Athletic NFL insider Dianna Russini, dating back to 2020.

The spouses were “cordial and talkative, but not overly flirty” per Page Six, spending around an hour and a half together.

The two were spotted one day after Mike skipped out on the final day of the NFL Draft in order to seek counseling amid the controversy. He released a statement on April 23, hours before the draft began, where he reiterated the need to focus on his family.

“As I said the other day, I promised my family, this organization and this team that I was going to give them the best version of me that I can possibly give them,” he said in a statement. “In order to do so, I have committed to seeking counseling, starting this weekend. This is something that I have given a lot of thought to and is something I would advise a player to do if I was counseling them.”

He continued, “I have always wanted to lead by example, and I believe this is what I have to do to be the best husband, father and coach that I possibly can be. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but it is one that I know will make me a better person. I appreciate the support that everyone has given me and promise a stronger resolve as a result.”

Mike met with reporters that same evening and was asked about initially downplaying the first batch of photos, calling it “laughable” that people would assume they weren’t innocent. (Russini, 43, also claimed the photos were innocent at first but later resigned from The Athletic amid an internal investigation.)

“That’s a personal and private matter,” Mike said. “I think that was an attempt to protect your family and I would never be dismissive. I think my family and this football team are the most important thing … I’m excited about the challenge with both of those things.”

Mike returned to work with his team on Monday, April 27, and two days later, he appeared at an event for Patriots season ticket holders where he received a standing ovation, according to social media footage.
